Privacy Policy

App name: Atomic Metrix

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Atomic Metrix ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when you use the product, connect data sources, upload health or workout data, or use Atomic Agent and MCP tools.

2. Data We Collect

Depending on what you connect or upload, we may collect:

  • Account metadata such as username, email, login provider, preferences, timezone, units, and settings
  • Strava-authorized data such as athlete profile, activities, streams, power, heart rate, route, and GPS data
  • Intervals.icu-authorized data such as planned workouts, calendar events, activity references, and athlete identifiers
  • Apple Health data uploaded from the iOS app, such as workouts, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, weight, steps, VO2max, and recovery signals
  • Training plans, generated workouts, workout canvas edits, completed ride records, and derived performance metrics
  • Atomic AI conversations, attached sport files, MCP authorization records, and tool execution results needed to provide requested features
  • Support communications that you send to us

We do not collect your Strava, Intervals.icu, Google, Discord, or Apple account passwords.

3. How We Collect Data

We collect provider data only after you explicitly authorize a connection through OAuth, HealthKit/iOS permissions, MCP authorization, file upload, or another in-product action. You can revoke connected account access through the provider or disconnect flows where available.

4. How We Use Data

We use your data to provide user-facing Atomic Metrix features, including:

  • Displaying your own activities, charts, workout calendar, and training history
  • Calculating training load, fitness/fatigue/form, FTP, power curves, zones, recovery, and related metrics
  • Generating and refining training plans, structured workouts, and evidence-based coaching guidance
  • Syncing or exporting workouts to services you authorize, such as Intervals.icu
  • Running Atomic AI and MCP tools that you invoke for your own account

Provider data display restriction: data from a connected account is displayed only to the authenticated Atomic Metrix account that connected or uploaded it.

No AI/ML training: we do not use Strava data, Intervals.icu data, Apple Health data, or uploaded health/workout data to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve AI or machine-learning models. AI features run as inference for the authenticated user who requested the response.

No targeted advertising: we do not use connected training or health data for targeted ads.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your training or health data. We share data only with:

  • Infrastructure providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, database, logging, and email services
  • Inference providers when you explicitly invoke an AI feature and limited account-specific context is required to answer
  • Connected services you authorize, for example when you ask Atomic Metrix to push a workout to Intervals.icu
  • Legal or safety processes if required by applicable law

We do not disclose Strava data, Intervals.icu data, Apple Health data, or provider-derived metrics for advertising or third-party customer insight generation.

6. Data Retention

We retain connected account data only as long as necessary to provide the features you request, maintain your history, or satisfy legal and security requirements. If you disconnect a provider, revoke access, or submit a verified deletion request, we delete stored tokens and provider-derived data associated with your account.

If you delete content on Strava and the deletion is reflected to our systems, we will stop showing that deleted Strava data expeditiously and in all cases within 48 hours.

7. User Controls

You can control your data through:

  • Profile → Data Sources for supported in-app disconnect actions
  • Strava app settings for immediate Strava revocation
  • Intervals.icu app settings for Intervals.icu OAuth revocation
  • iOS Settings / Health permissions for Apple Health access on your iPhone
  • Emailing admin@atomicmetrix.com for verified access or deletion requests

8. Accessing Your Data

To request a copy of the data we store about your account, email admin@atomicmetrix.com from the address associated with your Atomic Metrix account and use the subject line Data Access Request.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access control, least-privilege permissions, and provider-token protection. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Strava Usage Data Notice

Strava may monitor and collect usage data and information related to our access to and use of the Strava API and platform ("Usage Data") for business purposes, including compliance monitoring, support, and improving the Strava platform. This Usage Data collection is conducted by Strava in accordance with Strava's Privacy Policy. By using Atomic Metrix and connecting your Strava account, you acknowledge that Strava may collect such Usage Data.

11. International Transfers

Our servers are hosted in the United States. If you access the app from another region, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change the types of provider data we request or how we use it, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
